Who am I? "I'm batman!" is what I would say if I were batman. I'm not batman, or any other super hero (or villain), my name is Andrew Buttigieg and I'm just a mild mannered IT professional living and working in Melbourne, Australia.
I have a wide range of interests (mostly geeky) that keeps me busy and will give you a clue into the complex organism that is me:
- UFC / MMA: Any combat sport really, but mainly UFC. I can't get enough. WWE to a lesser extent. I used to watch it religiously, but this has been superseded by the real stuff that is UFC/MMA. I also regularly train at a boxing gym (www.boxing-fitness.com) and love it. Great way to start the day and for stress relief.
- Motorcycles: I want a Harley-Davidson! One day, but until then I'll have to make do with my Kawasaki
- 3D Animation: I've always been a fan of 3D movies like toy story. Now I've started learning how to create this stuff and can't wait to learn more.
- Animation: I also like the more traditional animation genre and am a big fan of Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Futurama, and the Simpsons.
- IT: Yep, it is what I do for a living and really quite enjoy it. I mostly work with the Microsoft stack of products in the web related technologies world.
- Hawthorn FC: Been a hawks supporter since I was a little lad, the whole family are hawks supporters.
- Comics: Was a huge fan as in the early teenage years and have started reading again recently (and love it). I'm more of a Marvel fan, but am open to other publishers.
- Gaming: I don't minding playing the odd video game, but don't tend to have much time to do so. I have a Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.
